Birth Doula
As a midwife, doula, and acupuncturist, I bring a unique blend of expertise to support you through a natural childbirth experience. My approach is all about minimizing unnecessary medical interventions, focusing instead on empowering you through this incredible journey.
Together, we’ll ensure your childbirth experience is as smooth and natural as possible. I’ll be your advocate and guide you to make informed decisions.
My role as a Birth Doula
I'm here to reassure you and give you the confidence you need for this beautiful journey of becoming a mom.
I will try my best to stay as close as possible to your birth preferences when the medical situation allows us to do so
I will help your partner to be deeply involved because hey! nobody knows you better than they do!
I will help you to cope with contractions with different positions, acupressure, massages, acupuncture, breathing techniques, visualization, relaxation...
with my midwife background, I will help you to make an easy decision regarding the medical situation, explaining the pros and cons of each possible option.
I am a strong advocate for the practice of laboring down, and I am committed to facilitating this approach whenever it is medically safe to do so ( Laboring down is recognized for its benefits, including reducing the duration of pushing, minimizing the risk of perineal damage, and improving newborn adaptation).
I will make sure you can fully benefit from the golden hour: skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, safe environment for placenta delivery, delayed newborn medical procedure when possible, and help for first breastfeeding / bottle feeding session.
